The Global Climbing Guide may not contain climbs in your area, but you can change that. Publish a climb to the guide today and help make it awesome.
The Global Climbing Guide is an interactive sport climbing and bouldering guide where everyone is the author. If you don’t see your favorite climb in the guide, create it... and publish it to the guide if you like. You can also track ascents, email climbs to friends, create ticklists, convert grades, and search the world for other climbs.
Ascents and published climbs are saved on the internet. They can be accessed from any iPhone or iPod Touch with the Global Climbing Guide.
Search for climbs by location, and filter by star ratings and grades.
Climb creation uses GPS and user knowledge to locate climbs on the globe. If GPS coverage is poor in your area, or the climb location isn’t quite correct, you can use a simple interface to place the climb in the correct location.
Available grade systems are French and YDS for sport climbs, and Font and the V-system for bouldering. More systems may be available in the future if there is sufficient user demand.
The Global Climbing Guide is a community driven effort. Currently the guide contains climbs in Hueco Tanks and Colorado, but it could be every guidebook you’ve ever seen, and more, in the palm of your hand. It all depends upon you.
More climbs will be added continuously.
